Canon (UK) Limited 1st June 2024 - 31st December 2024 Canon (UK) Limited Professional Discount Promotion (the Promotion) – Terms & Conditions
1. THE PROMOTER, PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS, PARTICIPATING RETAILERS, PROMOTIONAL PERIOD AND PARTICIPANTS
1.1. The promoter is Canon (UK) Limitedof 4 Roundwood Avenue, Stockley Park, Uxbridge UB11 1AF.
1.2. All Participants must be aged 18, resident in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (“UK”) and be a full member of the professional photography association listed in clause 1.2.1 below, or are an attendee at one of Canon’s Professional Services Events listed in clause 1.2.2 below (“Participants”):
1.2.1. Eligible professionals who are members of these select professional associations:
BPPA Member (British Press Photographers’ Association)
PPI Member (Press Photographers Ireland)
The Societies of Photographers Member
1.2.2. Eligible customers who have attended these specific qualifying Canon events:

1.3. By submitting a claim for a professional discount all Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions and confirm the correctness of their information.
1.4. This professional discount promotion is only available for the purchase of one or more of the eligible products listed below in Schedule 1 (the “Promotional Products”) within the UK from one of our participating retailers listed below in Schedule 2 (“Participating Retailers”). All other products and retailers are excluded.
1.5. Purchases must be genuine purchases for cash or its equivalent.
1.6. The eligible Participants as defined above in clause 1.2 will be entitled to register and apply between 1st June 2024 and 31st December 2024 (“Promotion Period”) and claim a discount voucher code for use when purchasing a Promotional Product from a Participating Retailer. This discount corresponds to 10% on the stated Recommended Retail Price (RRP).
1.7. The professional discount:
1.7.1. Is a unique non-transferable code valid for the Participant’s use only;
1.7.2. is valid for purchases of Promotional Products from the Participating Retailers only up to a maximum total of £20,000.00 RRP value if the Promotional Products are purchased in mainland UK or up to a maximum total of €20,000 RRP value if the Promotional Products are purchased in Ireland; and
1.7.3. is valid for use for a period of six (6) months from the date of its issue to the Participant (“Validity Period”).
1.8. All Promotional Products must be new and genuine Canon Products. Purchases of second hand, refurbished or reconditioned products, or products which are counterfeit or infringe the intellectual property rights of the Canon group of companies in any way (for example, including but not limited to parallel or “grey” products) will not qualify under this Promotion. 1.9. The right to participate is issued to the Participant personally and the discount code is only valid for that Participant within the Validity Period. Should the eligibility to participate be passed on to third parties, its validity expires.
1.10. Canon reserves the right to change the list of Promotional Products at any time.
1.11. All Promotional Products must have been purchased and delivered to Participating Retailers by Canon Europa N.V. or group companies based in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, Norway or the United Kingdom.
1.12 This Promotion cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other voucher code discount promotion or tender pay back offered by Canon during the Validity Period. For the avoidance of doubt any cash back promotions offered by Canon directly to end user may be used in conjunction with this Promotion during the Validity Period.
2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
2.1. To participate in this Promotion, the Participant must register and apply at https://canon-pro-discount.sales-promotions.com and must provide the following information during the Promotion Period:
- First name
- Last name
- Address
- Town/city
- Postcode
- Country
- Mobile No.
- Email
- Confirm Email
- Job Title
- Company Name
- Professional website
- (a) Confirmation of full membership of the association listed in clause 1.2.1 above or (b) a copy of order confirmation and/or ticket for one of the specific qualifying Canon events listed in clause 1.2.2 above
2.2. Participants will then receive an email confirming that their application has been received. If a Participant does not receive a confirmation email within three working days of registering their application, or do not have access to a computer, please contact Canon’s Hotline on 0800 044 3251 or by emailing canon@promotion-support.com.
2.3. Once received the application will be considered by Canon. This check usually takes two working days. In individual cases this may take longer.
2.4. Canon will not process any applications after the closing date of the Promotion Period the 31st December 2024.
2.5. Canon will not process applications which are in its opinion incomplete or illegible. Canon will not be responsible for claims delayed or not successfully received.
2.6. After successful examination of the application by Canon, the Participant's eligibility to participate in this Promotion will be confirmed by e-mail and a discount code provided to them. The discount code can be used by the Participant multiple times within the Validity Period (as set out in clause 1.7.3 above) up to the maximum amount stated in clause 1.7. It can be used at any of the Participating Retailers on purchases of Promotional Products.
2.7. The discount code that the Participant receives provides a 10% discount on the RRP price from the Participating Retailer, which must be deducted directly by the Participating Retailer.
2.8. The Promotional Products are subject to availability while stocks last. Canon will not be liable for the failure of Participating Retailers to fulfill orders of Promotional Products.
2.9. Only one application per Participant may be made during the Promotional Period.
3. DISCLAIMERS
3.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under this Promotion. However, nothing in these rules shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of Canon’s employees or agents.
3.2. Canon reserves the right to void, amend, and/or change this Promotion at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever.
3.3. Canon reserves the right to audit any claims to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions and to request additional information and supporting documents. Canon reserves the right to exclude claims and/or Participants if it suspects that the Promotion is being abused in any way. Canon’s decisions in relation to the Promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
4. DATA
4.1. Any personal data submitted to us will be processed by Canon (UK) Limited, its agents or associated group companies for the purpose of administering this Promotion and, if applicable, for marketing purposes – in cases when Participants have opted-in to receive marketing communication from Canon. The personal data collected from Participants shall be subject to the Canon Business and Canon Consumer Privacy Policies, as applicable, available at https://www.canon.co.uk/privacy/privacy-notice/.
4.2. Canon uses the following agency to carry out the administration of this Promotion: BENAMIC, IDA Business & Technology Park, Ring Road, Kilkenny, Ireland
4.3. If Participants do not wish for their contact information to be used for marketing purposes or to enable Canon to contact them in future regarding similar promotions, they should NOT check the relevant “opt-in” box when completing the claim form.
4.4. The personal data provided is held securely and may be transferred on a secure server outside the EEA. 5. LAW AND JURISDICTION
5.1 These terms and conditions and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
